What you don't get for $15,000 is service
Universal installed our systems in 2002. It took MANY return trips and installers to finally get our system running although some rooms have never heated or cooled properly. We have paid for the yearly maintenance agreement since the units intallation. The last 3 years I have called to remind them they haven't been here. The excuse for the last 3yrs. is a new computer system. This service call I pointed out the drainage hose had no water coming out of it, but appeared to be pooling beside our foundation. They ignored that and now 1 1/2 mo. after that reg. service call I have been waiting for 5 days in 90+ degree heat for them to come and fix my air. So much for priority service. The reason for the long wait is because so many people are buying their service contracts now, NO priority is given if they did the installation. Keep your contract, every year I have to pull mine out to show the service man the agreed to price for my maintenance contract.
