avoid a psychologist there named Ina Enoch

The therapist we saw there was pretty awful. We were separated and my ex-husband and I were going to her separately. I told her things and thought I was protected by patient-provided confidentiality laws.....but guess what? She told my then-husband things that I told her privately.....I couldn't believe it. It was a difficult time for me and for my family and she actually made things worse! Her name was Ina Enoch and you should avoid her at all costs.

awful

We went to this psychologist for family counseling. She was unprofessional and lacked any insight into the needs of my children. My daughter always resisted going and never felt a connection with Dr. Enoch. My son complained that she was "boring". My husband and I were seeing her separately and she actually shared information with him from my private sessions. It was information that I obviously DID NOT want him to know. I no longer trusted her after that. I felt like our family was in worse shape AFTER going to her for several months. I suggest strongly that you avoid this person at all costs.

R-U-N AWAY!!!!!

An awful, expensive waste of time. B. Alexander takes advantage of people at their most vulnerable. I heard her say inappropriate things to my children. She was often late. And it seems like she perpetuated litigation rather than solved any disputes. She charged us huge sums of money to evaluate our custody dispute but then charged more money to get her to write a report. He "report" was some kind of computer-generated paper where she just filled names and pronouns in the blanks. Please do not even consider this person~you will regret it.

waste of time

Dr. Sherrill was a nice person but she really didn't seem to have any clue or insight into our daughter's problems. After months and months of weekly (and expensive) visits she couldn't give us any direction as to what to do to help with my child's depression. I don't know if she didn't care or just couldn't figure it out. We went to her for 14 months and finally changed psychologists.....thank goodness we did b/c our new therapist immediately recognized that our daughter had some subtle learning problems and we got her the appropriate help and now she is a happy and confidant child. We went to Dr. Sherrill for almost 14 months so I feel like she was given plenty of time to figure it out.....I guess she just couldn't figure it out or maybe didn't care enough.....glad she is in our rear-view mirror!

Not a good divorce attorney

Ben Porter is not the kind of attorney you want on your side of the table in any divorce preceedings. He does have knowledge of the law~it is very clear when you talk to him on the phone or in person....but when we were in various preceedings like depositions or status-conferences he didn't speak! I remember leaning over to him during an especially mean-spirited rant of the other attorney and I said to him, "Can you please say something.....can you please say something here...???" Nothing....it was astonishing. I felt very vulnerable and I didn't feel like I was in capable hands. He doesn't seem to have the spine for this line of work.
