We hired B&L to look after our pool on a weekly basis while we were away from home for a year. Initially, we were pleased with the service level, but, when we returned we noticed that the pool equipment they claimed to have repaired (and which we were charged for) was still not working properly. They were not willing to make it right and claimed the problem was not under warranty. This was a frustrating response in addition to the fact that THEY didn't realize the equipment failure themselves.
Moreover, we believe the technician did not clean the pool every week and we were paying for him to do so. This is difficult to prove, but the week we returned we did not see or hear him and the pool looked untouched. There was also an odd amount of debris in the filter. I feel that our situation was taken advantage of.
Needless to say, we canceled our service and took our equipment in to another pool company and had the problem fixed for a nominal fee.
