Disappointing Quality and Integrity
After reading the online reviews I decided to use Wayneís auto service to fix our car. On In June 30, 2011 we took our car so they could replace the starter and repair the AC, which was blowing hot and replace a blower motor which had just burned. We paid $597.97 for this service.
On July 1st, 2011 I returned because the AC was still blowing hot air on driverís side and cold her on passengerís side. They initially top off the A/C but I immediately notice that this didnít fix the problem, so the mechanic got the car back and worked a little longer. When I left with the car that day apparently the problem was fixed and they did not charged me because it was under warranty from previous service. I was impressed with their honesty them that I wrote a positive review online.
On August 13, the car would not start. Called road service assistance to jump-start the car and they notice after car was running that it would not hold current and would stall. There was much voltage fluctuation when AC was turned on/off, so they recommended me to tow back to the shop where I had the AC repaired.
On August 15th Wayneís service diagnosed that battery failed test and asked $130 to replace it. The battery was under warranty with PepBoys which promptly replaced it. YET now the AC was again blowing hot air AND the air way control was broken. Wayne's priced and additional $535 to fix what they broke. They not only have quality but as well integrity issues
