WARNING! AVOID THIS COMPANY!
I awoke to my heater not working. I then called my home warranty company and was assigned to Buggay Mechanical. In the meantime, I was able to do something to the furnace that I thought fixed the problem, but would take some time to see if it did. I went back to my job and. Around 3p, I called the warranty company and cancelled the service call, as the furnace was back to working properly. Shortly thereafter, I noted a voicemail from an unknown number.
Well, it was a voicemail from Ed at Kenneth Buggay Mechanial, who informed me that I didn’t have enough “sense” to know if my furnace worked or not. He also added I didn’t know how to pick up the phone. Further, he told me that if anything ever happened again, to make sure his company was not assigned the task, so I didn’t “waste his time”
Are you kidding me? The claim was filed at 7a and Ed’s first phone call was 11a, so his response time leaves something to be desired. I wasn’t exactly staring at my phone for hours waiting for him to do me the honor of responding to my request. Also, he called twice. A real waste of time would be for me to have him come all the way to my house for something that I was ultimately able to resolve (thus the reason for my delay in calling back and ultimately cancel with the warranty company),
Apparently these guys 1) have zero value in / respect for potential customers and 2) have more business than the can handle. Save YOURSELF some time and go somewhere else
