Worst Customer Service
I am not one who has ever written a negative review. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, especially when it comes to family owned, local businesses. This one has really disappointed me.
When I dropped off my lawn mower for servicing, they said it would be 2 weeks for them to look at it . After 2 weeks, I called them and they were just getting to it. a week later they called back with an estimate and I told them to go ahead and put new blades on and fix it ($88). It took another 3 weeks for them to get the parts and repair it. Finally we pick it up, get it home and start mowing some monkey grass. We hit nothing, but the bolt breaks and we take it back to D&K the same day. another $80 and 4 weeks later, it is finally done. They only called to give an estimate once. Every other time, I had to call THEM to get an update. We had bought a chain saw & a brush cutter from them & dropped off the blade for sharpening the second time we dropped off the mower. They said it would be done that afternoon. We told them we would get it when we picked up the mower. 2 weeks later, stopping to pick up the mower (10 weeks total they have had it) and they had not sharpened the brush cutter blade yet. Integrity means doing what you say you will do, when you say you will do it. I am hoping the awesome Stihl equipment we purchased never breaks down, as I would hate to have to ever deal with D& K for repairs ever again. Will be looking for a new repair and farm equipment shop.
