Get a second opinion and be prepared to wait
I was most disappointed in Ridgeway Mechancial Plumbing. After reading all the good reviews online, I thought I had found a winner. Salvatorio from Ridgeway Mechanical Plumbing of Atlanta came out to our house and said we had a broken pipe and the pipe needed to be replaced from the house to the water meter...we reluctantly said ok since the pipe was only 5 years old, so they scheduled an appointment with them for the following day, well after taking the day off of work they called and said they would not be able to make it. So they scheduled an appointment with us for the following day around 1:00pm. So around 1:45pm no one was there yet...so we called and spoke with Jamie the manager at Ridgeway Plumbing. He informed us that they were behind and would be there as soon as possible. I decided to call around and reached Nick at Marine Plumbing. Tony arrived and diagnosed a broke coupling at the house within minutes of arrival and had the line repaired in less than an hour at 1/3 the price. The lack of customer service and trying to oversell a simple repair was most disappointing. The thing that upsets me the most is that I had taken off work so I could be at the house when they arrived, and I only get so many personal days. There is no excuse to mistreat your customers and to try to make small jobs into big jobs. I saved nearly $800 by using a different plumber. I would not recommend this contractor for anything.
