Red Hot Yoga

Posted on: 12/1/2011

Best Hot Yoga

I LOVE this studio, it is by far my favorite hot yoga studio, and I've tried several. The wood floors and high ceilings create a more open, comfortable, cleaner feeling (as opposed to studios with carpet or low ceilings). The instructors are helpful, friendly and well-trained, and the prices are more affordable than other studios I've been to. The classes can get somewhat crowded and you may not get a lot of individual attention, but the instructors make a point to walk around the room and try to make adjustments for students when necessary. The studio also offers a variety of classes aside from the traditional Bikram style, so there are classes accessible to students of all levels. Overall, a great studio if you're looking for hot yoga.

Atlanta Belly Dance

Best alternative workout

This studio offers a fun, friendly, supportive atmosphere, and the wide variety of classes offers something for everyone, whether you're looking to learn proper technique, learn a choreographed dance, or just shimmy your way to fitness. The teachers are very supportive, and you'll dance to a wide variety of music, from Top 100 to Egyptian folk music and everything in between. It's a great break from the gym, and you'll find muscles you never knew you had, as well as a boost in confidence and a deeper appreciation for your own unique femininity.
