DC Enclosures Inc

Poor Customer Service Equals BIG NO SALE!

My wife and I were looking to replace our sunroom that was about 27 years old. We began our search for a solution and came across DC Enclosures Inc. (DCE). Their sales rep came to our house and accessed our sunroom and our renovation ideas, a few days later he sent us his quote. During the weeks that followed we reviewed other contractors and began our comparison process. The more in-depth our research went the more questions we asked of all the vendors we were receiving quotes from. However, the DCE representative we were dealing with seemed to become aggravated by the questions we asked and at the fact that we were considering other vendors. At one point the DCE rep became accusatory and said he believed we had already signed a contract with another vendor, we had not and did not care for his comment. We asked for a copy of their warranty and received the warranty of a company that was not ever mentioned in all previous communications. The DCE repís apparent aggravation seemed to grow out of the fact that we did not sign a contract with them immediately. He then began to mention price increases if we didnít sign a contract within the week. Offended at the aggressive sales tactics, poor customer service in answering questions in a condescending manner, we decided to pursue our renovation search without DC Enclosures and their deadline for signing up for their services. ASK FOR THE WARRANTY FIRST!

Highly recommend Speaking to Mr. Scaife !

My wife and I wanted to replace a sunroom that was a part of our house since it was built some 27 years ago. We shopped around and vetted many of contractors and businesses that of course, profess to deliver the best beyond what others could do. No, Champion did not get the job. But, only because they do not offer a glass roof. I am convinced that the representative, Mack Scaife was the best representative we have ever dealt with in any purchase endeavor. Mr. Scaife came to our house and with great poise, intellect and a magnetic persona. He explained and educated me and my wife about sunrooms, windows and sliding glass doors by answering every question we had and left no doubt in our minds about the products of Champion. Even those questions he could not answer right away he went out and found the answers for us to insure we knew what we were purchasing. If Champion did supply a glass roof our journey would have ended with Mr. Scaife. Unfortunately they do not, so we continued our pursuit. We would like to thank Mr. Scaife for his honesty and integrity and we appreciated his charm and rapport in showing and telling us all we wanted and needed to know, minus the pressure sales pitch. We highly recommend Mr. Scaife and Champion because of our experience with Mr. Scaife in the Atlanta Georgia showroom.

Browning Electrical Svcs

Dont be fooled by all the good reviews- BEWARE!

I needed someone to come out and look at a ceiling fan that was not working so I looked on Kudzu and came across Browning Elcetrical Svc. I was impressed w/positive reviews.I called, they arrived on time I took then to the fan that was not working and of course when I hit the switch the fan worked properly, they explained that this sometimes happens when the remote and wall switch become out of sync. Then I had them repair a wall socket which amounted to them putting in a longer screw to secure the face plate. I had them give me an estimate on installing two exterior sensor lights and one tech said it would be easier and cheaper to just switch out the present lights for sensor lights and not have to run new wires but the other guy that seem to be incharge and gave the cost on projects, wanted to remove the soffit from the back porch to run wires which to me would have benifited him well for the excessive cost that project would command but to me it was easier and less costly to go with the first suggestion, I also got a quote on having a kitchen ceililg light move about two feet which would not require much and I will do the job myself but I got a quote from them since they were here, for that the price was $175.00 I thought to myself, that seemed very excessive! I will do it myself so all in all the work they did was replace a screw in the face plate of a electrical socket and the price for that was $75.00 Did not think this was fair.Beware!
