Vilda S. Brannen, MS, LPC, NCC

Saved my life....

Vilda Brannen has literally saved my life. She is intelligent, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and very thorough. She has helped me go from being a heap on the couch to back to enjoying my life again through therapy and referring me to an excellent PDOC. She listens, gets you thinking, refers you to reading resources, gives ideas on resolutions, and provides hand-outs to back up what she is teaching. Trillium Springs specializes in bipolar. So if you are in Atlanta area and are in need of help, please do yourself a favor and get in with them. Like I said, I was a mess when I started out with her. I still have my rough days and I continue to learn from her. Every session with her is like one of Oprah’s “aha” moments! Trillium Springs also offers bipolar support groups! This place is a blessing. Thank you all for all that you do for your patients!!

Rakofsky, Jeffrey Jay MD

Brilliant!!

Dr. Rakofsky knows his stuff! He is extremely thorough by asking many questions before he diagnoses. He is professional but caring and kind. If you need to call him he will either answer the phone himself or call you back promptly. He doesn't mind taking some time with you on the phone either. His main thing is he cares. He does whatever it takes to help you. Now I know why his schedule is so full. Consider yourself lucky if you can become his patient. Oh, and he is NOT cocky or arrogant about it either. He just truly cares about helping people in a professional compassionate manner. He took the time to ask me enough of the right questions to give me the correct diagnosis. Makes things so much easier now that we know what we are treating! Thank you Dr. Rakofsky!

Not Impressed

I went expecting great things. Breakdown: Cost: $$$$$$ Staff: LOUD….”can you hear me now” loud. Attitude is very brisk and curt “this is the way it’s going to be”. Friendly? I think they operate on this theory…..the more you line our pockets the bigger smile we give you…oh and the LOUDER we are. The office visit itself was going to be $63.00. I was told that if your pet is NOT sick it’s "only" $53.00. The bill estimate was over $200. I was NOT happy. This would not be our new “vet home”. Next, I hear someone yell out “take Bubba to the blue room” from the back. Okayyyyy? Fine, I do as I am told. So we wait and wait and wait. I hear vet and previous patient talking. Apparently this man had gotten upset with Dr. A and was apologizing. Still waiting, only to have Dr. A walk right by us to a patient who came in way AFTER us. Ok, well now I am upset with Dr. A too. Prices too high, treated like second class citizen….enough was enough. I walked out.

Southcare Animal Medical Center

They do NOT care

My dog had his heart worm testing done less than a year ago (in May 2011) and the results were fine. However, South care vet will NOT approve 1800 pet meds to send us heart worm medicine. Why? Because we have moved from the state. Since we won't be giving them anymore money, they don't care about our dogs well being. Nice huh? They also tried to bill me for a medication that we never received. This took more of my time and effort to call and handle. Do not waste your time with these uncompassionate incapable people.
