Read fine print even if friendly
Son attended many years.Pat was a great instructor. For personal reasons my son had to quit. He brought a letter and they even called to encourage us to go with a hold instead. At no time did they say a certified letter was necessary when they knew our intent. They continued to bill my credit card and when I reached them, they were no longer a friendly staff but strangers that claimed they did tell me this(NOT). Yes they have this in the fine print and are legally correct but ethically wrong. The staff was no longer the caring people that we thought we knew and trusted. It would have been easy for the staff member to tell my son and myself that the letter needed to be certified. And it does b/c you never know who will not acknowledge your non-certified correspondence and continue to bill you for services not used.
