Professional Lifesavers
Allstate put us in touch with these guys after a return line snapped in our master bath, flooding our house! I can't say enough good things about these guys. Key words: Communicative, punctual, efficient, friendly, detail oriented. In other words, Josh, Joe and the crew worked their tails off and were a pleasure to work with! And how often do see a franchise owner pay a visit to a job site? Mike came out twice to inspect the work. If you're in a bad spot with your house, call these guys! They are 24/7 Lifesavers!!

Buyer Beware
I didn't even choose these guys, my insurance company did. After a home break-in in January, SOS was sent out to patch up a broken window. We later decided that it would easiest for all concerned if they were the company to fix our broken window. The workmanship was fine. The billing process, however, was a mess. They double-billed our insurance company and we got stuck paying what I feel is more than we should have. Be careful using SOS Restoration. Know what you are paying for.

A hard job maybe
After reading other reviews, I decided to call REM AD to fix the sliding glass door on the rear of my house. The scheduling through Debbie was fairly easy. The first installer (Alberto?) came out on time but was a bit hard to understand. And apparently, I had a rare type of wheel for my door! (I had no idea.) Alberto told me he had to take a picture of it and it had to be special-ordered. He told me they'd be in touch, and he left. Odd. And a bit unnerving. After three days, I called Debbie for an update. One of my rollers was still on back order. It finally came in by the end of the week. Then I had to schedule to get it installed and (due in part to my schedule) that took another week. Finally Mike came out and did the install, which took less than 20 minutes. He was very thorough and even gave me tips for keeping the rollers in shape. The job was priced right, but I'm not sure if I'll call these guys again. I saved my old parts to make the job easier next time.

New Insulation
When I had my A/C unit inspected, I was quoted a price on insulation. As part of the price, Hays agreed to cap and remove my Evap cooler, which I had never used. Scheduled first appt. and was stood up! I was floored! But they were right on time for the second appt. and got the job done in a about an hour, in the middle of 110 degree heat. But then, they forgot to cap and remove the cooler! Called the office immediately and they were back out to finish the job! I still like these guys and will use them again. But, if you are going to use Hays for a job, I recommend the following, based on my experience -
First, always call and confirm your appt. and what work is being done.
Second, keep an eye out to make sure that everything gets done.
Otherwise, these are good people.
