Stuck in the middle

I rated this company with all three's because honestly I am unsure. Greg was exceptionally helpful. At first he seemed a little upset because I told him that before I made a decision on the repair, I needed to get an estimate from another company. After speaking with his supervisor and getting a brief history of the other company's performance, I called the other company to tell them exactly what the repair would be and to see if I could get a quote over the phone. Well, I was quoted $30 (installed) from the other company and $110 for Habpro. Obviously being that the price is triple the quote I recieved over the phone, I opted for the other company. Greg gave me pointers and even filled me in on the other company's tactics; upselling me on repairs or parts I do not need. Greg was right, the other company did try to sell me a top panel which was $149. Because of Greg, I did not go for it, I paid for exactly what he said I needed and with another small repair. Although the other company did exactly what Greg told me they would do, I still came out with the price I was quoted over the phone, which was $33.60. As a result, I saved myself $76.40 by going with the other company. Please note, I will post my opinions on the other company's site because it is true, they are not a 100% honest.

A little confused

First things first....my door is fixed and at a price I am very happy with; however I had to question David's (Technican)pricing. Prior to his arrival I had another company give me a quote. The other company wanted to charge me $110 for a repair this company quoted me $30 on. It raised an eyebrow because that is a huge difference in price. To make sure I fully understood, I called back a second time to make sure the price quoted was installed, drive out, final. I was told yes. Well, I had already been warned by the other company to beware of upselling. David told me eventually I would need to buy a top panel for my garage door because it is already spitting. The price I was quoted was $149 (not including tax). If he did the repair that I requested it would be $30 + a service fee of half the normal rate of I believe was $45 + $30 to make another small repair. My total went from the $30 I was promised over the phone to somewhere around $100. This is exactly what the other company said would happen. After questioning his pricing, David did the honorable thing and charged me what I was quoted over the phone and made another small repair for free. It took him less than 20 minutes to complete the job. Obviously if David is right I will need to get that top panel; however I don't think that I completely confident in either company to complete the job in fear of being ripped off. Thank you David for not overcharging me although I know that is what you are trained to do.

Excellent!

I am very pleased with the job! I had my entire townhouse painted (ceilings, trim, garage floor & walls)and they exceeded my expectations. Will surely use again.

Waiting to see....

The intital cleaning did not go very well; however I have been placed on the schedule to have it re-done. The staff member was apologetic and promises no disappointments the second go around. Stay tuned for an updated review after the completion of the second cleaning.
