My alarm goes off several times in the afternoon for no reasons since I started using the system last Thursday. Ackerman's technician came out, couldn't fix the problem because he didn't know what caused it. He wanted me to pay $90 for a problem he couldn't fix. I refused to pay. He then told me to sign an extended warranty which will only cost $25 per service call + $6 more monthly in addition to the $25 monitoring fee I've been paying. I agreed with it. I called them back the next day for the same problem & the earliest appt they could give me was 6 days later. They would not give me an earlier appt at all. Meanwhile, I've been receiving these false alarm calls everyday & asking my neighbor to check if they're false calls or real. The police were dispatched to my house many times & I don't want them to think that it's just a false alarm when there's a real one. Very disappointed that Ackerman can't give an earlier appt & charged me a fee that they didn't fix.
