I live in Barrett Greene subdivision and first hired Ann Johnson Design in 2008 when Atlanta was experiencing severe drought. The grass in my front yard was brown most of the summer due to lack of water. I told Ann I wanted to landscape my front yard with drought resistant plants and get rid of most of the grass. It was one of the best decisions I ever made about my yard. Her proposed landscaping included different kinds of plants that bloom throughout the year, and the colors were coordinated to draw the eyes of the passersby from the landscaping to the house. The plan could also be implemented in phases so I was able to match the cost of the phases with my cash flow. When I am working in the yard individuals from the neighborhood often comment on how great my yard looks and say they wish their yard looked so good. I have since worked with Ann to redesign other parts of my yard and have always been pleased with the results. Several of my neighbors have also worked with her based on how good my yard looks and my strong recommendation. If you would like a new look for your yard, or think your original landscaping just did not measure up, I urge you to contact Ann and ask her to suggest ways to improve your yard, and the curb appeal of your house.
