Superior Plumbing Services

Posted on: 9/25/2012

Saved Big!!! Thanks!!

I had a leak into my downstairs bath, from my upstairs master bath. I called out a different plumbing company that I had used in the past. The representative of the other plumbing company did not go outside to try to locate the source of the leak at the roof line, did not open the panel to my jetted tub, or anything else to look for the source of the leak. What he did do is tell me that he needed to cut a hole in the downstairs bath ceiling and it would cost $199. I asked him what that included and he told me putting down plastic, cutting the hole, getting dirty, and cleaning up. I told him I thought this was high and he said, "Do you know what Xrays at a doctor's office would cost?" (Did he really just say this?)After thinking about this for a few minutes, I asked the guy to leave and called Superior. Rick, from Superior, came out and looked around, took of the access panel to the tub and found the leak to be an issue from the caulk around the tub. He was very diligent in finding the source and making recommendations because he could not fix this. This service call cost me $27.50(I should mention the other company did not charge for a service call). This is a far cry from the $199 I was going to pay to diagnose, not repair(there was no repair needed and the hole would have been for nothing), and I would have been left with a hole in my bathroom that needed to be repaired. Needless to say, Superior Plumbing exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them

Sundial Plumbing

Run!!Do not walk from this company.

I had used Sundial in the past, so I decided to call them regarding a leak from my upstairs bath into my downstairs bath. Gary came out and said he would need to cut a hole in the downstairs ceiling to diagnose the problem. He did not go outside to try to diagnose from the roof lines, did not open the access panel to my jetted tub, or anything else. He instantly wrote up an order for $199 and asked me to sign for him to cut the hole. I asked him exactly what this covered and he said, "putting down plastic, cutting the hole, getting dirty, and cleaning up". I expressed my concern over what appeared to be a high cost for cutting a hole, and no repair had been made. Gary then said to me, "Do you know what Xrays in a doctor's office would cost you?" After thinking about this for a few minutes, I asked Gary to leave. I called another plumbing company that came out and diagnosed the problem as a caulking issue around my jetted tub(after opening the access panel to the tub and finding the leak). This service call cost me $27.50 and a tube of caulk. Needless to say, their prices are high and the employees lack knowledge and ethics.

Dallas Dodge Chrysler Jeep

Top notch Service Dept. and Body Shop

I went to Dallas Dodge/Jeep for a paint defect in a Jeep that was 10 months old, and had 1900 miles on it. Peter and his service representatives took pictures of the defect and sent it into Chrysler. Chrysler denied the repairs because the pictures were not clear enough(it is difficult to take pictures of a clean, black Jeep).I asked Chrysler/Jeep to reconsider the warranty repair and they sent Anthony Hardy, the Regional Manager, out to the dealership to look at my vehicle, and he denied it stating environmental fall out. Did I happen to mention that the Jeep was 10 months old, and had around 1900 miles on it?? By the way, the Jeep was garaged. I escalated my complaint to the Chrysler/Jeep warranty manager in Detroit. Peter was very instrumental in making contact with them on my behalf, and taking calls to guarantee that the company knew that this was a warranty issue. In the end, my repair was completed at Dallas Dodge and was covered as a warranty repair. Peter and his team were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and courtesy, and I will not take my Jeep to any other dealership. The body shop was fantastic to work with. Thanks for all of your due diligence that resulted in a very satisfied and loyal customer!!!
