Saved Big!!! Thanks!!
I had a leak into my downstairs bath, from my upstairs master bath. I called out a different plumbing company that I had used in the past. The representative of the other plumbing company did not go outside to try to locate the source of the leak at the roof line, did not open the panel to my jetted tub, or anything else to look for the source of the leak. What he did do is tell me that he needed to cut a hole in the downstairs bath ceiling and it would cost $199. I asked him what that included and he told me putting down plastic, cutting the hole, getting dirty, and cleaning up. I told him I thought this was high and he said, "Do you know what Xrays at a doctor's office would cost?" (Did he really just say this?)After thinking about this for a few minutes, I asked the guy to leave and called Superior. Rick, from Superior, came out and looked around, took of the access panel to the tub and found the leak to be an issue from the caulk around the tub. He was very diligent in finding the source and making recommendations because he could not fix this. This service call cost me $27.50(I should mention the other company did not charge for a service call). This is a far cry from the $199 I was going to pay to diagnose, not repair(there was no repair needed and the hole would have been for nothing), and I would have been left with a hole in my bathroom that needed to be repaired.
Needless to say, Superior Plumbing exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them
