Southern Dental Associates

I went here as a recommendation to hopefully cut some cost since I am uninsured. Well the woman doing my x-ray was rough, said she normally does not work on that machine and they were getting on her nerves, then while roughly trying for about the 5th time to x-ray she broke a part of my wisdom tooth that I was going in for with the utensil she was shoving in my mouth!. Then she blamed it on the tooth for having a hole in it. She did not tell anyone but proceeded in frustration after I questioned her. Another guy seemingly a tech said he would try to get the x-ray because he knew how. Almost in an experimental way. This was extremely uncomfortable. Then I told a "Dr" that she broke my tooth. She then proceeded to tell me to tell the Dr who sees me. Long story short. The billing guy called me up and recommended an oral surgeon to extract my wisdom tooth. I mentioned the lady broke my tooth then said I didn't have to pay for the X-ray. He would note it in my chart. I told him that wasn't necessary because I would never be back. He too said my tooth broke because its fragile. He wasn't there, not a dentist, and did not mention any type of reprimand for that employee. This place has a high volume of customers and workers. Too much is going on and not enough attention is being paid to the safety and satisfaction of the patients. Everyone I encountered was unprofessional. I was very shocked by this experience and I would like to pursue further actions.
