No communication

It's hard to rate the customer service because there is NONE. I placed an order in early September and all went well, but not this time. I placed a small order (#658993) on 10/10/12 and got a confirmation email which included this: "Need a UPS Tracking Number? We'll send that to you in a Shipment Confirmation e-mail on the day that the material ships out.  So, watch your e-mail inbox!" After couple of day with no such notification, I logged on to the site on 10/13 and saw that my order was still "in process." I then sent an email asking why? I got an automated message that said "We have received your request for more information. Thank you.  We do our best to respond to all inquiries within 1 business day." It is now NINE days since I placed my order and I have received neither the item nor any communication. This is very dissapointing. I had thought I had found my source for metals for my various projects, but the failure to communicate is a real problem. Too bad.
