No call, no show should be their logo

should have learned my lesson with them last year when they no showed, but the technicians (when they show) are knowledgeable. They burned me again this year. For a family business, you would think that they would take more pride in providing decent service, but it's quite obvious they don't care. Too many employees are young and just don't give a darn about their customers. The owners need to scrap their entire scheduling department and replace them with some older workers who know honesty and integrity.

Cannot handle a vacation stop and restart

I requested a vacation stop and restart on my paper. After coming in late Sat. night, I was looking forward to a lazy, rainy Sunday morning with my paper. NO PAPER. I called the subscriber line and took the option to speak to a rep, which was as an option until 10 AM, but when I hit zero, I was thrown back into the same loop, starting over with the mechanical greeting. Finally, at 9:58, the auto greeting changed, saying I had to call on Mon. So, obviously someone was there, BUT NOT DOING THEIR JOB. I am done with the MDJ as of today due to their lack of customer service. Besides, their coverage of local and college sports sucks. If you are not Lassiter or Pope, don't expect your school to get its fair share of coverage. Obviously the sports editor has kids that go to those schools. As for the new Lacrosse team at KSU, that coverage stopped after the first game. Tell me MDJ, is it because they were women or because you have NO CLUE what the sport is.

Not sure where everyone else ate - stay away

Ate here at 6:00 PM on a Wednesday. The place was virtually empty. After having the food and experiencing the lack of service I know why. I ordered taquitos with rice and that is exactly what I got. No garnishments with the meal, no sour cream, nothing. I dined with a friend and our meals came out separately, probably because the server was SO lazy, she would have over exerted herself by bringing them together. Never got refills on our beverages and we waited and waited and waited for our check, despite the fact that she had cleared our plates and declined desert. When the check finally came, she never came back. When someone finally appeared at the register to check out a take out order, we took our checks up to pay. Our waitress was casually sitting at a table out of our view, reading a magazine. My dining companion asked the cashier if the waitress should have picked up our payments and she we were told she should have. I rarely undertip a server, but the 10% I left was 10% too much.

Going Downhill Quickly

We used to go regularly. This place started off great, but every subsequent visit has been increasingly disappointing. This week the service was extremely poor, the server was inattentive and couldn't even get my drink order correct (sweet tea/party of one). My side vegitable never arrived so she had to comp me a cheesecake. The MFM crab cakes are extremely overrated, the "seafood" cakes have more flavor. Personally, I get better service and more value for my money at Red Lobster.

Repeated No Call List violators - rude, rude, rude

Despite the fact that I have been on the no call list for years, they continue to call. I have even told them in person to take me off their list but every three months, I get another call. Say no to this business who continues with their illegal practices. If they cannot obey a simple law like honoring the no call list, do you really want them in your home. Dishonest in one area will usually indicate dishonesty in other areas. Do not give them any of your business! They are undeserving.

Don't bother unless you want aggravation

This is a company that cannot get it right, nor do they seem to care. Got the name of one of the manager responsible for pick ups from a WM employee at my church. But even that guy was ineffective at managing his own department! Missed pickups, trash strewn over my lawn and the street. I was offered plenty of free weeks of service for all of their missed pick ups, but it got down to the fact that they could not pick up reliably. When I cancelled, I told them to pick up their container within 24 hours. I was told they only picked up the containers weekly. I finally told them if they did not pick it up within a day, it would be moved to the main road outside my subdivision with a large note stating WM sucked and why. They picked it up within 24 hours. It is not my nature to threaten, but I was sick and tired of their nonsense. Hire them only if you enjoy customer DIS-service.
