The crew showed up as scheduled. They had a bunch of truck problems the first day. So they came back a second day. I didn't like taking a second day off work, however these things will happen.
It is now a couple months later. We chose to leave the insulation in the attic. When into the attic and found that they had not slide the insulation back and did NOT spray down to the base of my roof. They sprayed over the insulation on the side. This was very concerning as spray foam should fully encapsulate the roof area. Had a friend use a thermo imager to look at the inside of my roof, there is tons of air leaking all in my roof. My roof's inside looks like a zebra with cold air moving all over the place through the foam. Also when we turned out the lights, there was a spot with day light coming through. I understand that teams get in a hurry and overlook stuff especially if it is a young crew.
However I was really disappointed to not have my telephone calls returned. I left several messages for a supervisor to call me. The sad thing is over a week, and they still have not returned my call. I would just like for them to make it right. I've hired a third party to do a full energy audit on my home and document what they find. I still have hopes that the company will stand behind it's work and make this right.
