On March 20th, we serviced our 2 units early to avoid the Spring / Summer rush and the was convinced to buy the maintenance contract ($218 charge). This would give us priority scheduling should anything arise and also give us 50% off parts / labor. Less than a month after our unit was inspected and serviced (April 19th), the AC would not come on. We called immediately and was told that we would not be seen for over a week and a half. We told them that we have a maintenance contract and was told that meant nothing and we would have to get in line with everyone else. Needless to say, we were livid! We called and asked to speak to a supervisor. The manager said that she couldn't do anything for us and we said we wanted our money back for the service contract since it's worthless. She said they would give us $60; that's it. After much discussion, we realized that we weren't going to win and received a check in the mail for $60. Poor service, poor management and customer service and we will NEVER do business with them or refer them again. Do not buy the maintenance contract. It's a scam!!!
