I had a HVAC tech out to my home to give a quote on a new central ac unit.Having gone through the technical details which he was very knowledgeable, gave me a quote I later found to be by far very reasonable. Having settled on cost, he asked me cut the unit on for a check on the malfunctioning unit.I was very reluctant to go through all the tests again after being told by another tech that the compressor had finally given up due to age 1997 unit. I finally turned it ON only to be told that there might still be life left in it as the run capacitor could be the cause as both the fan and the compressor were not coming on. He offered me a free tip on how and where to buy a capacitor and also to test using one from my working unit because I have two. I did exactly as I was instructed, first unplugging the breakers for safety and my unit came roaring back. This guy Greg from E.Smith was sent from above as I spent just 1% of what I was going to shell out on a new unit to get my upsstairs chilling again. Experience and honesty will beat any competition any day.Keep the good work going
