They Are Too Busy & Too Important For Your Job
I called Kenneth Axt & Assoc after finding them in Trust Dale Service Guide. The rep answering the phone interrogated me endlessly asking in minute detail what I wanted painting. I had to go over and over it again, repeatedly telling her I wanted to pressure wash my home, paint & stain 2 decks, paint the exterior of a screened porch (14 x 18 ft), 3 interior walls of the porch and get a quote for a finished basement. I told her I wasn't sure if I would do the basement, depended on the quote. The whole conversation felt very uncomfortable, like I was on a job interview and was being assessed worthy or good enough. The conversation ended with her saying "David would give me a call." With no scheduled appt for an estimate, I was supposed to just sit around and wait for a call. Within 5 minutes, the same rep called back saying my job wasn't big enough, that they were busy with whole house jobs and if I wanted them, I would have to wait until Fall. Today is May 15th. This is one of the most arrogant companies I've ever dealt with. When most of the Home Report magazines are delivered, unrequested, in my mailbox, I normally toss them out because this is what you typically get. Once a company gets into one of the magazines, like "Trust Dale" they become popular and unless you have a mansion or a HUGE job, they are too good for your lowly pittance of a job.
