Nice place, average steaks.
I took my wife out for our anniversary and was very pleased to see that the reviews I had read appeared to be accurate. Nice relaxing environment but not too stuffy. The waiter was friendly and the munu had a nice selection. We opted for the steaks; mine the big ribeye and her the filet. They must have had a new grill man working as both steaks were victims of the flame. They had that sooty bitter coating that happens when the fire flares up on the meat. The lights were too low to really see it when they brought it to the table. We mentioned it to the waiter who was apologetic but didn't offer any recompense, (not even a free cup of coffee). The steaks were OK. The ribeye was pretty lean, not well marbeled as a good ribeye should be, so flavor suffered. I will probably not go back again. Too pricey for a hit or miss experience.
