I do NOT recommend Dr. Wingfield
This is a response to Dr. Wingfield's reply. First of all, I have been going to Dr. Wingfield for regular check-up for the past 2 or 3 years (since he took over the previous Dr.'s patients). If I had work that needed to be done, and couldn't wait, Dr. Wingfield should have communicated that to me, but he never did. As far as I was concerned, the timeline on which I was getting work done was fine. Second, Dr. Wingfield stated, and I quote, "95% of patients do NOT need to get numbed before setting a permanent crown." It wasn't after he set the crown, and I was literally crying in his chair, that he offered to numb me. After the procedure is over, that doesn't do me much good. Third, I SPECIFICALLY asked him before he set the crowns to make sure I didn't need a root canal "because I don't want to go through all this again." He didn't even bother to check if I needed one. I am honestly shocked at his response.
