Won't Honor Advertised Pricing
Be very careful of this company. My son and his friends booked the Jet Executive Limos (JEL) party bus in January for use at prom in March through Limos.com. There were many options on Limos.com, but we chose JEL and booked and paid the money. The next day, the JEL rep called to tell me that Limos.com should not have offered me that rate because JEL charges more for Prom and for events in March. I asked whether he was backing out and he said no, but that he wanted to increase the price a few thousand dollars. I said he either honors the contract as is or breaks it now because at that time, there were multiple, comparable vehicles we could rent from other companies. He asked me to pass along a summary of all of the places we called and the prices they offered us so he could consider. I then called Limos.com; it said he couldn't do that and that our reservation was indeed confirmed. Two weeks later, I again called Limos.com to finalize the address for pick up/drop off locations, and was assured that JEL had to honor the contract. But two weeks before prom, JEL sent an email canceling the contract, saying that the bus "was in the shop". Limos.com had no record of the bus being serviced for three week. Incredulously, it's in the shop for three weeks during the expensive season?? Needless to say, because of the delay and how close it was to prom, we couldn't find any party buses. Any smaller alternative vehicles are double the price. Buyer BEWARE!!!
