After our first meeting with Philip Trapkin of Sterling Works, we knew that we wanted him to be the builder for our home expansion project, as he took the time to study our plans and current structure and get familiar with our project at that early juncture even before we had formally named him as our contractor. As the project proceeded, Philip’s accessibility and personable nature helped to make the construction process run smoothly for all of us (during what is always a hectic and stressful period for a displaced homeowner).
Philip and his crew’s workmanship and attention to detail became evident as our new addition took shape. But what has impressed me the most in hindsight was the adherence to the schedule we were promised at the beginning of the job. We were given an estimate of six month from the time that work began, and even with the expected frantic rush of the final two months of construction (and some unexpected weather delays) we were able to move into our home at the six month mark. In my business, I deal with commercial contractors all the time and see how construction schedules are rarely met even in the best of circumstances. For our project, Sterling Works worked tirelessly to finish at the promised time.
