Pinnacle Window & Siding Co.

great product - outstanding customer service!

Pinnacle replaced all the windows throughout our almost 40yo house and they did a wonderful job! We looked at a smaller company, N. Georgia Window & Door, and Pinnacle. Pinnacle was able to provide a better quality window (from an efficiency standpoint) at the more reasonable price per window. After signing the agreement, Pinnacle noticed a discrepancy in the estimate that favored me. I thought I would have to pay more, but that was not the case. They stood by there estimate and completed the install exactly as promised. How honest is that?! Unheard of these days! Everyone was an absolute pleasure to work with across the board. An extra kudos to Nancy, who answered my initial call. The first interaction with a company speaks volumes. She was nothing less than sweet and professional - an absolutely gem!

Dekalb County Water & Sewer

in short, completely incompetent!

We purchased a home and submitted all the proper paperwork (application, HUD statement, and silly exemption form) to have service transferred over into our names. Easy enough right?! Wrong. Somehow the technicians were notified to shut off our water ...15 min before the carpet cleaners arrived! I was so irate. And because you can't call and talk to someone, I had to pack up both kids and make the 30 min drive down to decatur where customer service reviewed our acct to say, "I have no idea why they would shut off your water. I'll issue an emergency request to have it turned back on today." I left there thinking all was looking up until I got to the house the next day to find a note on the door stating the water wasn't turned on because they didn't receive notice that all the faucets and such were off. To put it lightly, I was fuming with anger! If I'm telling you to turn my water back on, turn it on!!! As the owner, I would take responsibility for faucets on if I were that stupid. I'm certain the field crew has nothing better to do than mess with people.

Electrical Outlet in Laundry Room

On moving day, we noticed that our new home only had a gas hookup for the dryer. That doesn't work well if you have an electric dryer. I panicked because I had multiple loads of laundry that needed to get done - including soiled cloth diapers. Andrew F was able to come out the next morning to put in the outlet. He was efficient and a pleasure to have in our home. He even helped my husband and father move the dryer from the garage to the utility room. Hated having to spend $750 but better than replacing my $1000 dryer!

Piedmont Pediactrics

Waiting 40 min for wellness visit! Unacceptable

New to the area, friends of ours recommend the practice. It just so happened that both kids wellness visits fell at the same time so we had an appt at 10:30. We arrived early to complete paperwork and have extra time to find the office. At 10:45, I asked the man at the front desk where we stood in the line up. He never followed up. At 11, I asked again for which he replied, "and what is your last name again?!" I almost lost it! He supposedly looked but never told me until I went back up again to ask for the 3rd time (!) for which he implied that we were next. What a lie! I was talking to the woman next to us (who's son was also seeing the same doctor) and she was called back before us. FINALLY we were called back at 11:10, didn't get out until 12! Way past nap and lunchtime! Will be looking for a new pediatrician!
