Alterra Pest Control

Great Start

It's only been our first month, and I'll be sure to write a follow-up after six months or so, but initial service has been great. The Regional Manager, Travis, met me at our house just as we were moving in and explained the service very well. Given that we have a great deal of plant life in our backyard, I was especially keen on Alterra's approach to treating far beyond just the edges of the house. Our service providers have been thorough and very nice. Rijad was here today and did a great job notating what he found and what he did to get us on an even keel. I've had Terminix for years and very much recommend Alterra so far as being superior.

Master Locksmith Indeed!!

We had just closed on our house and discovered that several locks were difficult to operate so decided to have all the doors rekeyed and replaced with modern hardware. Kevin was exceptional from beginning to end. He provided expert advice on the types of hardware along with the benefits and costs. Kevin and his apprentice both have an amazing attention to detail. One of my doors had a non standard catch plate opening and Kevin was disappointed he could not find an exact finish match to the size opening. Keep in mind, this is something that no one sees unless the stare down the side of your door while opening it. Next he and his partner were not happy with how my doors were opening. The house is 40 years old so the hinges had obviously moved some over the years. They both took it upon themselves to replace the hinge screws and replace them with modern, longer, screws that helped pull the doors back to true. There was no additional charge for going this extra mile! They probably spent a good three hours getting everything just right and then explaining how all the locks operated. Kevin clearly takes the security of my family seriously and it's very much appreciated. Finally, as he was packing up, probably around 6, I heard him pick up a call from someone with an emergency due to an employee who quit and the owner needed locks changed. After what must have been a long and tiring day, Kevin responded positively and was on his way to solve more problems!
