Dance 101

it is getting worse

The studio and instructors are nice but: (1) they are openly bored most of the time; (2) classes are too crowded; (3) schedule is changing all the time; (4) if you do not have any dancing experience you can not follow choreography and there are no benefits; (5) the class fee if increasing all the time, (6) they try to sell you supplements and (7) they cancelled their morning classes. I am disappointed.

reasonable good

I visited the location next to the Central library (I heard they are moving to another building around 12/15/06). The lobby is very austere, the equipment is a bit outdated, the teeth cleaning was quite rough, Dr. Baumrind is very nice, but he wanted to do so much work on my teeth that I thought that he is in a dear need of patients!! Might go there again though you have to pay a parking fee.

nice but sloppy

The place is quite high-tech with modern equipment (optical imaging in addition to X-rays). The lobby is very comfortable. However, I have several misgivings about the professionalism of the stuff: (1) the hygienist forgot to put a protective cover for X-rays procedure, (2) The X-rays had to be taken 3 times since she put a cavity on 2 two different teeth first 2 times, (3) the cleaning is done rather hastily, no goody bag and there is apparently large turn-over of hygienists, (4) they do not put silver fillings, so beware, since dental insurance does not cover white fillings on back teeth, (5) my last filling was poorly done since I can not properly floss next to it and another dentist said it needs to be redone only after 6 months, (6) I had a perception that they want to do more work on you than necessary

great place but beware of $15 hidden fee

The office is very high-tech and cozy-comfortable at the same time. The only downsides are (1) you have to pay upfront every time and get reimbursement from your insurance later, (2) there is a $15 non-covered fee that you pay every time because they say they use disposable instruments in your mouth.

extremely poor service

I recently moved into Virginia-Highland area and this is the worst dentist I have ever seen. This place is extremely outdated (1970-1980?). After my teeth were clean with lots of blood, I refused to have my teeth examined since I was gravely concerned at that point that I will get an infection. Terrible place. Regret that went there.
