A Single Dad @ Work

Posted on: 11/3/2013

Best in the Greater Atlanta Area

Anthony provides excellent service at reasonable rates. While doing my yard - removing small trees & undergrowth, trimming bushes, ivy & general cleanup - he made sure it was a thorough job, going beyond what we had discussed. As I have a son to do weekly maintenance, he made suggestions as to how he could help to enhance the yard. I could not be more pleased and will be calling him for my spring clean up! On a side note, he is a man of integrity & truly is a single dad who works hard to provide for his children.

All Area Appliance

Best Service I Have Ever Had!

I am writing to highly recommend All Area Appliance. My dishwasher and wash machine were not working. Both were fixed by the most amazing person - Tony - who finished all the work and in the process found a rusted out disposal. He replaced that as well while here. I cannot say enough about this company. Scheduling was easy and Tony arrived on time. Tony also had all parts in his vehicle, repeatedly going to get whatever he needed to repair the appliances. I will definitely be using All Area Appliance for any future needs.

Matthew's Tree Service Inc.

Destroyed my yard!

After having my front yard resodded, I contacted Matthew's Tree Service to have a stump removed as the company doing the work could not remove it. Noting the delicate nature of the new sod and calling their office to remind them, I made sure that Matthews was aware of my concerns. The removal was not to occur until late in the afternoon when I got home from work. At around noon, I received a call from my son indicating the man was at my house and I called the Tree Service and spoke to Christina. I was assured it would be fine but I reminded her of the delicacy of the new sod. Instead of using a hand machine, the employee used machinery he had never used before, drove it over my new lawn, got stuck and damaged the yard. Not only did they create gaps between the pieces of sod, they destroyed a 20 year old shurb framing my front walk and left wood chips over 1/3 of my new sod. The sod he stacked up was not put back down. I spent 2.5 hours blowing, raking, relaying the sod and hosing woodchips. While they did send someone to replace the bush, I was assured the yard would be resodded. I received a "good luck with my new yard" message a few days later with a disclaimer that they thought the original landscaper had done a poor job - contradicitng what the person who had come out and replaced the bush had told me. My plan is to have someone do the work and take them to small claims court.
