Better options elsewhere

The property management company has a 20% discount w/Terry. What I didn't realize was how many other options are right near by at similar prices. They tried to convince me that 2 year old VOLKL's were the "latest equipment" though it was clear they were weathered and well worn. Everytime I've done a demo package in the past, it's the latest equipment conditioned after each use. I love trying the latest gear using my own boots and the guy at Terry said "You have a great pair and it's probably been only a few weeks since they were last conditioned." Pretty sad statement at $49 a day without boots. My kids skis were OK, but the boots they were given had to be out of the 1990's. Rear entry with one buckle. I expect that at crap resorts in North Carolina, not Steamboat. Had we not been exhausted from our travel in plus we already went through the hassle to get everything, I would have walked out. What ended up having me make this post is the following......after I found a great pair of Oakley goggles at another store, they refused to refund the sales tax on a pair of goggles I bought there 1 hour earlier. They said it is store policy since they "have to pay the tax anyway" which we all know is not true. No amount of logical discussion would convince them otherwise so I took it up with my credit card company who will handle this for me. TRUST ME, you are wasting your time here. Jeff's company did a great job - a true professional. By the far the best quality materials when comparison shopping and a solid track record of quality installations to boot. They are willing to go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction and it is very much appreciated.

Quality work / quality people

Bill and his team at Honda Techs are fantastic. The quality of the work is as good if not better than any dealership. They truly care about you as a customer. Several expensive dealership repairs were handled at less than half the cost. In fact, they did a few things that were simple to fix and didn't even get charged. I'm not the type to take the time and pound out this kind of e-mail, but in an industry that can be suspect at times, it is very refreshing to find quality service done by quality honest people at a very fair price.
