We had a flood in our basement, coming up from the floor, and called Trotter based on recommendations from several friends. Since our basement is finished, finding the cause of the leak was our biggest concern. The tech that came out had no tools with him-not even a flashlight! He appeared to have no clue. We gave him very thorough information and his only response was, "Well, I really don't know but if you install our system for $5000 that will fix it." I kept trying to tell him that if we don't find the CAUSE of the leak, it will keep happening! It felt like a sales push, not a solution.
UPDATE: Mr. Trotter himself called and offered to come out personally. He was willing to listen to what I had to say and I appreciated that. While we had already gone with another company, I think it says a lot that they were willing to listen to feedback and try to make it right. An ability to followup and listen to complaints as well as compliments is very important. Thanks.
