take it for what it's worth
I had a breast lift done by dr. carspecken and i would not recommend going to him.
i could write a story about how i feel, but the one thing that will always stick in my mind is this:
By the time I had gotten all of the stitches out (2 months after my surgery) and had numerous post operative visits, I was not at all feeling comfortable with him or his staff (namely his nurse. everyone else was pleasant). At my last visit, I told him exactly how I felt about my breasts. (I felt he took out too much volume. And my right breast, which was slightly larger before surgery, was now smaller than my left). He became very defensive. So much so that he left the examination room and got my before photo, held it up in my face and said that if I wanted, he could change it back to that.
I honestly could not believe it. I was shocked that a doctor would act in such a way. Although after his nurse made me feel like I was being a baby about feeling pain while getting stitches pulled out from my sore and still healing breasts, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.
If you do decide to go to Carspecken, I wish you luck. I know he is not the worst surgeon, and yes, he is talented and has a lot of experience. But he and his nurse have this way of acting as though because theyve been doing this for 30+ years, it should be a walk on the beach for everyone. Well, it's not. And I would definitely not go back to him.
