horrible experience

My mother was referred to Dr. Durmer by her PCP for sleep apnea, drug interactions, and mental impairment. She drove 25 miles for her appt. and was informed the doctor wasn't there. The front desk girl was unapologetic, unable to help, and maintained that there was no appt. I am scared for my mother and mortified that this sort of farce passes for medical care. I can't actually review the dr. because the receptionist messed up so badly. FOR SHAME.

Dr. Frederick is out of his mind!

A year ago, I thought Isis was the best OB ever, thanks to the amazing midwives, Kay and Margaret. But Dr. Frederick fired them both, leaving all the midwife clients completely in the lurch, with no care and no chance of the births they had planned. A doctor's ego yet again ruins the birth climate for women already deprived of choices. The office staff is horrid, and the head OB is a craven misogynist. AVOID!

Dorothy is phenomenal!

I had my hair cut and by Dorothy, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. She really listened and took the time to give me a haircut that works with my hair and lifestyle. I could not be happier. I feel gorgeous and adore my hair for the first time in months after a botched cut from an Aveda salon in Woodstock.

bad service and customer service

They miss our trash and/or recycling about 30% of the time. They never come at the same time, and they often leave trash in the yard. Our rates just rose $6 a quarter with no letter or explanation, and I was told it always occurs after 1 year of service, so they basically punish you for your loyalty. Worst sanitation company ever. There's a reason it's cheap.

expensive but wonderful and worth it!

Made an appointment after finding coupons in the Savvy Saver. My stylist was wonderful-- gave me a great cut that really works for me, better than the photo I brought in. So accommodating of my infant and child-friendly! Megan did my hair, and Elise did an amazing job on my eyebrows. 3 weeks later, and they are still fabulous. Most expensive haircut i've ever gotten, even with the coupon, but happiest i've ever been with a salon, the staff, a hair cut, and a brow styling. Beautiful, airy salon in a convenient place, great products, lovely people.

extremely frustrating!

Customer service is horrible. I finally gave up and found a new dentist when, after 4 MONTHS, they wouldn't return my calls to tell me how much procedures would cost. They would not communicate with insurance, and they charge extra fees not covered by ins. Last straw - was told "it's not my fault, I can't help it if the other people here do a bad job" when I complained. Hygienist kept quoting the Bible at me. Dentist was condescending. Kept pushing expensive procedures. Long wait. 2nd worst dentist ever. I have switched.

Very disappointed

I saw a dentist here in 2006 who was my favorite dentist ever, but since he left, it's been a nightmare. Dr. Taylor's bedside manner leaves much to be desired. They leaned heavily on me to do dental work that was not necessary and cost through the roof. I get mail from them once a month for a bogus charge. I can't get my records from them. Beware!!

Worst customer service imagineable

If you actually get them on the phone, prepare for curt service, shoddy scheduling and a technician with no markings on his vehicle or uniform. Actual service was fine, but contacting and scheduling was a nightmare. It's been 6 days, and we still have no AC,and they won't return my calls.

Wonderful salon, but they've outpriced me

I've been to this salon several times over the last few years, and each time, the price seems to sneak up $5 while the quality of service has gone down. I have not been as happy with my cuts, and they seem to forget the paraffin wax and shoulder massage. It's just too expensive for me to justify now.

Great atmosphere, staff and instruction!

If you want to learn to fight, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the way to go. Tiger offers a well-rounded program, lots of opportunity for sparring and a great atmosphere, serious but not a bunch of steroid-ridden apes. Their kickboxing program is more aerobic than fight-oriented, but there's still a lot to learn.
