Poor business practice.
It pains me to write this review because at one point, I thought this was the best pizza in Atlanta. But how can it be the best if they are not even open when the sign says. Not once, but twice, this happened!
For health reasons, my wife took an eight-month hiatus from dairy, and only in the last two weeks has she been eating dairy products again. One of her biggest cravings during this time was Bergamo Pizza. My father had also heard my raving about Bergamo, and he lives in Suwanee, way on the other side of town from Kennesaw.
Let me backtrack a little. Several months ago, the three of us went to Bergamo on a Sunday afternoon. Supposedly they open at 1:00 on Sundays. We pulled up at 1:30. Closed. We called the number on the door and a lady answered, saying there was an emergency and they would open at 3:00 that day. No biggie, maybe some other time we'd go.
Today, we decided to try it again. This has been a trip eight months in the making. Because of our last experience, my dad decided to call last night and ask what their hours were for Saturday. The lady said they would open at 12:00 (and this despite their signage saying they open at 11:30 on Saturdays). No problem. We even arrived a bit late, at 12:45.
Doors locked, lights off.
Totally unprofessional and unacceptable! You lost a customer! We went to Rocky's Pizza in Towne Lake instead and loved it more than Bergamo!
