Kolo Inc

Did me a solid!

So I didn't get my nostril pierced here, but by the awesome people at Piercing Experience. They do a great job but are a little too intense for me, so I bought my last nose ring at Kolo. The price was great and Gigi was so nice the last time I went so when my stud fell out during Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday I went back there to get another one. Problem was I ignorantly picked out a screw instead of a barbell and it was very uncomfortable to me (totally my fault though). They let me exchange it out for a barbell and only made me pay the difference...very nice of them! The people who say they can be aloof are not incorrect, but if you are looking for someone to throw you a parade for being a customer, you are in the wrong shopping district! They were helpful to me when it counted and they have a great jewelry selection...I won't shop anywhere else!

Snap Fitness

I love Snap Fitness!

I am in the process of losing 80 pounds (48 down, 32 to go!)and Snap Fitness has really been a big part of the success I've had so far! After my apartment gym became BEYOND broken down, I checked them out and have been a huge fan ever since! There are so many pros! They're always open, they do month to month membership, they have very up to date and well maintained equipment, tanning for only $12 extra a month (UNLIMITED, and it's a stand up bed, not the creepy coffin kind)and the staff is awesome! They are friendly and helpful without being annoying or pushy. I can't say enough, go, you'll love it!

Pizza K

Bull @&$% Breadsticks!!!

Normally, my boyfriend and I love Pizza K...it's tasty and cheap. But this time was different...first of all, the guy who my boyfriend spoke to did not speak English AT ALL...he had to repeat his order three times. He ordered a pizza and an order of bread sticks (which are normally wonderful)but the person on the phone misunderstood him and they brought us their "garlic bread" instead, which is just white sub bread with garlic butter on it...which costs three dollars btw...WTF?!? Boo Pizza K...boo.

Inman Animal Hospital

Cold- Hearted and Rude

I have taken my puppy to Inman since I got her, and I'm less than impressed. When I brought her for her first visit, she was diagnosed with mange, and I had to get her a series of expensive chemical dips to treat it. Since I am a college student, I inquired as to how much they would be. The doctor treating her then became very rude, and told me that it "didn't matter, I had to get them done." My friend's dog later came down with the same illness, and was treated for half the cost at Briarcliff, and as soon as I have a car, I'm going there. The vet techs at Inman are all wonderful and friendly, but the two grumpy front desk people, who once yelled at me for my dog barking because they, quote, "were doing a euthanasia in the other room" (totally unprofessional!) need to go.
