If only he were a Dr. of, well, everything...
Ditto all other reviewers... Dr. Beasley is the most compassionate, dedicated, and knowledgable Endocrinology specialst in Atlanta - but beyond that, he's the best Dr. I've ever had the beneift of seeing. His personal attention to your issues, and his genuine concern for approacing a solution the RIGHT way, not the quickest way is refreshing to say the least. Beyond that, he's just a funny, friendly guy. Five stars don't do his practice justice...
Great libations stop
Minks has awesome prices / deals, and an impressive inventory. They are happy to accomodate everything from odd Keg demands to specialty liquors. Friendly, too. Our out-of-town friends often want to stop in and stock up!
Neighborhood favorite for great food and prices.
If you're looking for a nice, quiet dinner out without a guilt-inducing price tag, this is the place. Great food, decor, and service are standard here.
Weekday lunch is typically busy with Windy Hill area business diners - GREAT sushi specials and entree bargains, plus the same great service and atmosphere.
Chinese and Thai dishes are reliable and alwasy tasty - Sashimi is high quality, and rolls are made just the way you like them.
Skip the super pricey asian-fusion restaurants around town and make Great Wall a regular...
Best Theatre around
Easy to get to with nice seats, large auditoriums, and a big selection of movies and showtimes. A little overrun by Paces / Vinings high schoolers on Fri / Sat, so avoid whatever it is they are seeing until a weeknight!
This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. Ever. Parking is kidof a pain, but i'd walk if i had to for La Parrilla's live music, perfect Chimichangas, Spicy cheese dip, and killer margheritas.
Looks, feels, and sounds like a college bar...
But if that's what you're looking for, Bailey's won't dissappoint. A great place for a group to go out and get rowdy.
Wow - this was terrible
With so many choices in the Paces Ferry / Windy Hill area, I'm not sure why we settled on TGI Fridays. Anywho, this may rate as my worst dining experience in the past year. Service was OK, but food was AWFUL. My pasta dish was miniscule, and the pasta was the rubbery brown and re-microwaved variety. Looked to be roughly 2-4 days old. We're not big complainers, in fact, i'm rarely dissappointed, but this was so bad I doubt we'll ever eat at this restaurant chain again.
Fun Friday night scene
Good food, although pricey. Check out the lunch menu for a better bargain. Decent live bands and an attractive crowd on the weekends. Great for low key going out in Smynings-area.
I freakin love the Marietta Diner
Where else can you go for Sunday brunch with the fam, and at 3:30 in the morning with your drunk-and-munchie friends? Personal Faves = Apple crumble cheesecake (get it to go!), country fried steak, Grilled cheese with bacon, Tuna melt, and the breakfast special. I'll miss the Marietta Diner most if / when we move...
Loud, but food is so good you stop caring
My parents insist on going here whenever they are in town. The mussels appetizer is incredible - Soak up the broth with anything you can find. Crawfish etoufee and pasta dishes are lovely, spicy, and cooked perfectly. Fried foods are surprisingly non-greasy. Atmosphere is neat, but the restaurant gets loud during peak dinner hours.
