I am so thankful for the thorough reviews that others have left regarding this business, and I have to say I agree 100% with the many positive comments. Jennifer was courteous and cheerful, and scheduling was a breeze. Dan arrived exactly on time and listened to my concerns, then went to work with his inspection. I explained that another company had come out one year ago and told us that our 45 year old fireplace needed to have major repairs, to the tune of $2,400. We had just purchase the house and had other things to spend our money on, so we declined. Additionally, I did not feel that this other company's assessment was thorough and felt like a second opinion was needed. Dan discussed his findings with me in great detail and disagreed with the other company's assessment in a respectful way, which I appreciated. He did determined that we need to have the crown fixed (the general inspector had documented this in his report, so we were aware of this), and reviewed that process with me. He also suggested a new cap and explained his reasoning. We have not yet scheduled these two things, but plan to do so within his suggested timeline. He gave me great suggestions about building the perfect fire to boot! Thank you, ACS, for your excellent customer service.
