Best Beer Selection in Town
Absolutely the best beer selection with a friendly staff to help you find what you need. If you're at all interested in exploring beers, this is the place to start.I have all but ditched my local beverage store for a monthly trip to Hop City... and I live far out! The only reason I gave it a 4 star value rating is I found some better prices here and there.

Great "GUY" Place
If you're the type of guy that likes a beer handed to you with a friendly face when you walk into a barber shop, decked out in dark wood and leather chairs, this is your place. The price of the cut is going to be more than a barber shop but less than a salon. The service can't be beat. I went with a few buddies and had a great time.

Great Service
I've bought many concert tickets from them when I needed good seats. I've always received good customer service but the guys on the phone have gone over and above on multiple occassions. For me, it's all about good service b/c prices are set to a market rate and are negotiable from there.

Best in Memphis!
Dr. Chuck Halford and team are the best in Memphis! My dog is skiddish of strangers and men but he always puts her at ease. He has a gentle nature about him that works very well! The team has always been courteous and has treated our animals with great care. The whole team has a personal touch.

Hip
This is a great place if you want to entertain clients. The private lanes and pool rooms are a perfect way to accomodate a small group. The atmosphere exudes style. Incredibly hip and chic. A must if you're trying to impress. Prices are through the roof so know what to expect.

Great Atmosphere
This place has as much history as you'll get in a BBQ restaurant in Memphis. Know that the service isn't great. The servers are as old as the restaurant and they want you in and out of there. As long as you keep that it mind, you'll have a great experience. Also, this is NOT the best BBQ place in Memphis. It's worthy of a stop if you're visiting but you'll have to go to Interstate BBQ for the best.

So-so service, so-so selection
This is the type of place that works if you know exactly what you want. I've shopped here many times because of location but never received assistance above basic cashier or stock clerk. They don't know their wine or beer and are moderately concerned about customer service. Their wine and beer selection is nothing to write about.

Men's Hair: Mediocre
Although I stopped going because they butchered my hair after going to the same stylist for months, it was more about the price you pay for a man's cut. I've used 3 stylists at this salon over the past 2 years but was never really satisfied. Until recently, I kept going b/c I was never really disappointed either. I never thought the cut was worth the price (above $30) for men. After the latest incident, I decided it's worth continuing my search for a salon worth what they charge. My experience is specific to a man's cut and not related to any other services the salon offers.

Mediocre at best
This is a great family restaurant but don't expect the best service or the freshest sushi. The food, including hibachi is mediocre at best. Prices aren't good but still beats traveling to Buckhead if don't want to drive and aren't cost conscience. The guys at the sushi bar have personality and have the best place to sit in the restaurant. Don't go if you're expecting good food at decent prices.

Know what to expect
The food is authentic but know in advance that you're going to a dive. It's the other end of the spectrum from fancy. The atmosphere isn't great, the lighting is poor, the environment isn't necessarily clean, but the food is good. It's certainly worth eating at but know what to expect!
