Dave the Conman!

I made the mistake of having MNE install a ceiling fan, but I was told that I needed the box in the ceiling replaced because it was not strong enough to hold the new ceiling fan. I went for this con game to the tune of an extra $89.00 for the UNNECESSARY box replacement. Later, I learned that several of the ceiling fans in other rooms were suspended by the exact same grade of box, and two of the fans are muich heavier than the new one Dave installed and have been safely suspended from the ceiling for at least 3 yrs.

A Haircut Fiasco and a Harmful Color reaction

I have gone to Brett for quite a few mos., and during my first visit, I made it crystal clear that he had to be careful with the color formula due to my being allergic to some of the ingredients in some hair color products. I never had a problem until my LAST visit there, when I had both a bad color reaction and a butchered haircut. This was the 2nd successive butcher job that he did on my hair, but I wanted to give him a chance to correct his mistakes. But the final haircut and color was the last straw. The owner NEVER tried to contact me to resolve the problem. I label it as the ignorance of youth. Brett, we live in a very litigious society today, and you should be cutting lawns, not hair!

Service with a Personal Touch

Chuck, the owner, installed new front pads and rotors on my 2004 Accord. The braking system is now better than when I purchased the car new in July of 2004. Also, Chuck`s secretary, who also happens to be his sister, drove me to a nearby store to buy some coffee and donuts. That is what I call service with a personal touch. I wouldn`t hesitate to bring my car back to Chuck for servicing. Thanks for a job well done, Chuck!

A Medical Misnomer

I made an appointment to have my eyes examined by Dr. Feinberg, but, instead I ended up with some technician with an "attitude." Dr. Feinberg only examined me for about ONE minute after this so-called technician spent what seemed to be an eon with me. I got a technician at an opthamologist`s fee.
