Total Con Artists!
These people recommended over $1,200.00 worth of shocks for my car, because it is a 1993 and it had the original shocks on it. I took it to an independent shop, and the mechanic told me that all of the shocks had been replaced in the last year or so (I recently bought the car used).
I took my car back to the Firestone a couple of months later, just for tires (I have no idea why I took it back there after they tried to rip me off, but I thought it would be okay just for tires). They told me that all of my belts and hoses were original to the car and needed to be replaced to prevent a breakdown. Again I took my car to an independent shop, and again I found that all of the belts and hoses had been replaced soon before I bought the car.
These have to be the most dishonest people in the entire world. I agree that they are friendly, and are quick, but they are deceptive and they overcharge you. I would drive my car into a lake before I would drive it onto their lot again.
