Jim Ellis Porsche of Atlanta

Tried to take me for a ride!

I brought my husband's Porsche in for a variety of things to be checked. It was going to take 4-6 hours to check everything so I was given a VW loaner….thought it should be a comparable car but that’s neither here nor there. Approximately 4 hours later I received a phone call with a laundry list of things that "needed" to be fixed. First of all the alternator was quoted at $2400 but an aftermarket could be installed for $1300. I asked if I should come get the car while we waited for the aftermarket part and he stated "no, you’d be stranded if it went out." Other items they said needed attention were: The sunroof needed "cleaning and relubing" at $215. We needed an alignment although it doesn't pull at all for a cost of $250. The oil pressure gauge was "erratic" so it was suggested we replace the sensor (sender?) for $250. There is a screw in the tire that you can't fix because the tire is not "Porsche approved" which places me on the road in an unsafe car. I called my husband to discuss and he got a quote from an import service center for $600 for the alternator (including labor). After dropping off the car we received a phone call from new location. There is NOTHING wrong with our alternator. Do NOT use this company for service….or anything else for that matter!

Made me have faith again!

I have had some horrible experiences with vets in the 3 years I have owned my dog and I have to say bfv really helped me get over some serious anger with other vets. I brought my dog in for the first time for shots and to inquire about test results that were given from another vet. They took the time to talk to me about my concerns and to explain in detail what was going on with my dog. I was pleased with the level of attention I was given but was even more impressed with the attention given to my dog. They actually sat on the floor with her and played with her; they didn't just walk in give her a shot and walk out! Thanks BFV for restoring my faith in people who are supposed to love our babies!

poor puppy

I boarded my dog at APR during my honeymoon and thought I had made a good decision. We paid for the puppy play times so we thought she'd be getting attention and love. When we arrived home 8 days later our dog was emaciated and as thin as I've ever seen her. It was horrible. They simply said she was nervous and wouldn't eat. We were not given a phone call and no one on our emergency list was contacted to find out if there was something that could be done. I was very disappointed and upset that she went through such a trauma. I'm sure that some people have good experiences here, but just wanted to let you know that they didn't go above and beyond to take care of my dog. A phone call would have let my friends know to take some cheese to my home sick pup...that's all it would've taken. Simple phone call. Very disappointed. *********To reply to your response-my dog has NEVER eaten refrigerated food so you have the wrong person and I didn't pay for two play dates a day........And I didn't pick her up a friend did but was upset when she dropped her off. just FYI
