Mower Menders of Ga Inc

Was 1 star, moved up to 3...

I dropped off my mower on June 27th with "call the customer for estimate" written on the receipt. I received a call on July 8th telling me that my mower was ready and it was going to cost over $100. What happened to calling the customer with the estimate and why did it take two full weeks to do so? At least when I got there, they made the situation right by taking some off of the bill, but the work never should've been done until they contacted me in the first place.

Still love my house...a year later!

John Temmel re-sided and painted my entire house last March. It looks just as great a year later as the day the work was completed. Overall, we enjoyed working with John. There were some set backs in the schedule and the project went on longer than I anticipated but in the end it was worth it. We chose John over three other companies and would highly recommend him and his crews.

Iron Horse Remodeling

Poor communication and broken promises.

EDIT: I've updated my 1's to 3's after speaking with Wes about the miscommunication. We will have him come back to give us a quote on our work and can hopefully change the 3's to 5's! --- After multiple emails trying to schedule an appointment, we finally agree on a time and they never showed up, never called to say they couldn't make it. Very disappointing.

Helps me make sense of my life

I have been working with Deb for nearly a year and look forward to our sessions every other week. One of the greatest things about Deb is her ability to help me connect the dots of my life in a way I never could on my own. She has helped me ome up with many practical solutions to issues in my everyday life.

Decatur Domestics

Wow!

My husband and I contacted Wendy of Decatur Domestics in Dec. 2007. We set up a time to meet her at our house so she could give us a quote to do a deep clean and then bi-weekly cleaning. In the few minutes I spent with her she seemed nice and we were looking forward to having her come on Jan. 11 for the deep clean. We emailed back and forth about details and in one of those emails I brought up payment. Admittedly, this was my first experience in hiring a cleaning service for my own home but I have much personal and professional experience researching and hiring all types of other service people. As Wendy will tell you, I work as a house manager for a Buckhead residence and I am responsible for hiring professionals for all types of service, maintenance, repairs, etc. In my personal and professional experience, when hiring someone to do any work, you never pay the full amount until the work has been completed to your satisfaction. If you paid everything up front, what would be the insurance that the work would be completed fully and satisfactorily? Since I do not know Wendy nor her work, I proposed that I would pay her half of the agreed amount up front and the remainder when the work was completed. Neither my husband nor I would be home before she left so that would mean paying her the next day. I offered to either mail her the remainder or meet her in person close to where she lives the very next day. See Wow! - Pt. 2 for more...
