Don't let them fool you!

BEWARE! Gomez is not a reliable company! We have had 2 leaks, 1 of which was repaired, but was due to the crew "forgetting to put flashing in the valley". The other leak is not repaired. They never rebuilt the cricket as stated on the contract and now they want to charge us an additional 200 - 300 to rebuild the cricket. The interior of our house is damaged because they will not repair their mistake without charging us! We have filed a complaint with the BBB and are currently seeking an attorney.

BEWARE!! They are NOT BBB Members!

Scott Hobby is extremely nice and businesslike. However, once a contract is signed there is absolutely NO communication what-so-ever. Now, I can understand that circumstances arise and contractors get behind and can not begin the next project when anticipated, but every time the crew did not show up, I had to initiate the phone call. They would give me excuse after excuse (which at the beginning I didn't mind, I just emphasized to them I would like a simple phone call)as to why the crew is behind schedule. Well, this went on for approximately two weeks; I would call Scott Hobby who would not know why the crew was not at the house, he then would contact Gary Church, Gary would call me and give me more excuses. I was even told at one point that the crew would be at my house on Monday because Gary Church wanted his crew to rest on Saturday and Father's Day was Sunday and it was important that they be home with their families. I agreed with this, but when Monday arrived, you guessed it, no crew, no phone call. Again, I had to initiate the phone call. Once again, I was promised that the crew would be at the house on Wednesday at 7:30. No exceptions! Well,I bet you can guess what happened....NO CREW. Needless to say I fired them and demanded that the dumpster and materials (by the way, the materials were sitting on our driveway for at least a week and a half)be removed and that the deposit be refunded in full. In summary, no communication! Poor management!
