25 Minutes--Still No Service!
Visited this restaurant on January 02, 2012, at 3:45PM. Although not busy at all, there was no greeter in sight upon entering. Waited roughly five minutes to be seated.
When seated, greeter took our drink order. It was at this time that we were told that they had "run out" of Sprite. How is such a thing possible?
And then we waited ever so patiently while our drink glasses were long since empty. Only about 10 percent of the dining room seats were filled, but no one stopped to ask if we had ordered yet.
Those seated around us were also complaining about the incredibly slow service. One lady said, "Enough bread already! Where's our food?"
After waiting at our table for 25 minutes, it was time to leave. No manager in sight. After asking the greeter a couple of times, the manager finally appeared. To his credit, he apologized and did not charge us for our drinks.
Very sad to see a Macaroni Grill location not living up to the standards for which the Macaroni Grill is well-known. This location's employees had no sense of teamwork or devotion to service.
Until the corporate office is able to correct the situation, diner beware!
If you decide to go to this Macaroni Grill location, let's hope that you're neither hungry nor in a hurry!
