I agree with auburn. Is shopperman a shopper!?
I had work done this fall and my container gardens are beautiful and flourishing. Made it through the winter with NO added water. They know their stuff! Just have to go to their website to see what beautiful work they do. And, what does shopperman expect? I have been to a few garden centers this winter, and they had nada. He is obviously not a gardener, otherwise he would realize that gardens are seasonal, and even Lowe's stopped selling trees and shrubs because of the drought, Pike closed, Home Depot closed their landscape stores, and Habersham closed for the whole winter.
Hastings did none of these things, is "old faithful", a place people can depend on to be open with quality merchandise. I switched gears this winter, and concentrated on my house plants and orchids. Another reason why I go to Hastings. They have the best selection around! AND, while there picked up all kinds of info on drought tolerant plants and xeriscaping (sp?). They are always one step ahead of the others.
I do know that they had to let one of their employees go who I dealt with in previous years for my containers. This sounds like it could be him! Doubt that anyone else would have a complaint about Hastings quality and service.
