nice people

I have visited the ER here several times. On one occasion, I was in the midst of a bad asthma attack and could not walk on my own. As I was carried into the ER entrance, a nurse stepping out to call the next patient saw me and immediately took me back. I was hooked up to a breathing machine within 3 minutes. I appreciate their willingness to see an important situation and act on it. I have waited in the waiting room many times as well and know they move as fast as they can. We've always had great care there.

Love the atmosphere here. I feel like I'm back in the South. Hush puppies and catfish. . . what more can I say? Except that the prices are reasonable and the service is very good.

very organized

Pennywise Books is a used bookstore located in PB. One of the best aspects of this shop, and what sets it apart from other used bookstores, is how well organized store is. Books are sorted nicely, and each section is well kept making titles easy to find. The prices are decent, especially when compared to buying new. Check this place out if you are in the market for used books of any variety.

Located on Sport Arena Blvd. in Point Loma, the T-Shirts Mart offers a bunch of different styles of plain tops and bottoms in various colors. The prices for most of the items is quite good, such as $3 for a plain adult t-shirt. Their color selection is also impressive. Most items come in a very wide range of colors, including neutrals, bolds, and pastels. The one downfall is that those in need of smaller sizes may not find much. They offer an Adult Small is most items, but this is still too big for most who wear a womens small.

Sombreros is little Mexican restaurant located on Mission Gorge that was recently remodeled. The food is quite good and the prices are right for most items. The staff and service is hit and miss. Sometimes the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the last time I visited this restaurant my dining partner received the wrong meal and the staff tried to make him feel guilty when he went to get it changed to the meal he ordered. In addition, on our last visit there were a host of small bugs by the window sills, which kept landing on my dining partner.

Antico Toscano is one of my favorite places to dine at in San Diego. Its location is not too great. It is located in a strip mall in Hillcrest, next to some pizza shop. The food and service, however, are exceptional. The staff is incredibly warm and inviting. The food is delicious. The chef is also willing to put together a custom dish to suit your tastes or dietary needs if you cannot find something on the menu.

great fried rice

great fried rice and orange chicken. The food was excellent. The price was very reasonable. Very clean and great service. Love their flavored tea, very good!! Would recommend.

This place has home cooking. You can get just a salad or chicken fried steak. Everything is good. They have great dessert. The price is very reasonable. Great service.

pub

The owners of this joint are great guys that have made it a very happening place. Karoake on Sunday's is always crowded, and Tuesday features great beer specials.

Celebration Station

Celebration Station is good at what it does. The indoor arcade area is usually packed with kids but the 2 stories provide for a host of different games to play. There is also a dining area and ticket redemption counter. Outside, there are batting cages, go carts, bumper boats, mini golf, and I think they recently added laser tag. The mini golf is not the best layout I've been on it but it's a fun course. Go carts are fun as well - and the batting cages are rarely crowded and affordable.
