This is one of the few Salons where the owner and groomer truly knows dogs. So whether you want a simple cut for your pet or a professional groom for your show dog, your dog will receive the best grooming in town. The owner shows, handles and breeds different breeds of dog, so she knows what your dog needs to be the show diva or that wonderful buddy at home. The service is excellent as well. You receive terrific value for your precious pet.

Pet Care at its finest

West Foothill Animal hospital is a terrific place for your pet. Dr. Park the veterinarian cares very much for you animals and is versed in many small animals. You don't have to have an appointment and the doctor keeps longer hours, available 1/2 days on Saturdays. He is caring and concerned. He has been able to diagnose many ailments that only specialists are able to decipher. Sometimes he is a little hard to understand, but his wonderful personality and honest concern doesn't need a translation. From Birds to buddies, he is a great source for your pets that need assistance.

Best in Scottsdale

There are terrific restaurants in Scottsdale, but this is one of my favorites. When visiting Scottsdale, this is a "must do." We are never disappointed. The menu is unique, the food superb and the service great. Next time you are Scottsdale, this is the place to eat.

So Nice to have Ace around

Ace Hardware has remained the best hardware store in town. With a community of disappearing local hardware stores and the spread of Depot type stores, it is wonderful to have Ace just around the corner. Ace Employees are willing and ready to help you. The prices are slightly higher than you will pay at the larger club type stores, but when you need something now, they have it and they have considerable choices. I wouldn't always listen to the recommendations on what to use, but they typically know what they are talking about. I hope they stick around, cause it's great to have them.

Sorry it had to change

Mail Box Etc was the best, the service was outstanding, the prices reasonable. The owner was amazing extending personal service and consideration. The staff was exemplery. I am sorry they had to be sold to the UPS store, I will miss them and the way they made their customers feel like family.

The Best of the Best

Newport Vetinary Clinic is a phenominal clinic with two very gifted and professional IM and Xray speicalists. The staff is extremely professional and courteous extending gracious services normally seen in a spa. You may have to wait a little longer than you'd like, but when its your turn you are treated with respect and courtesy. Your animals are cared for.

Great Find

Plaza Produce is a Deli with Flair offering the finest of produce, meats and free range chicken. They provide a unique variety of wines, cheeses, crakers and a full service Deli with some of the best and most generous sandwiches and salads around. Because they are so good, you may have to wait a little longer at lunch time, but it is worth the wait. The dinner specials are fantastic and so convenient for working professionals who just don't have time or the energy to cook every night. They are tasty and a great value. Examples are Roasted Chicken, with your choice of one of their terrific salads, bread and baked macaroni and cheese. They change it up so that you can have it a few times a week. The salad bar is yummy offering all kinds of healthy choices. The salads are a little pricy, but it is by the pound so if you are a light eater (literally) you pay less.

Where they treat you like a Queen

This is truly the best in town of all the salon and spas. They are extremely versitle in their services and cater to all ages and styles. They offer Beverly Hill style facials and specialty services The massage service is the very best and specializes in the deep tissue. For you atheletes I highly recommed it. The salon is full service with pedicures, mancures, hair, massage, facials, etc. They make you feel like family and probably offer the very best value in 30 miles.

Red Dragon Karate in Azusa is the premiere studio or dojo for karate first timers or top level black belt. Shihan Mike Jablanski is a 9th degree black belt and is respected and envied by all other senseis and shihans. He is a serious and phenominal teacher and truly cares about his students. He is particularly concerned about his young students and their safety. He assures that safety is always first as well as appropriate use of learned skills. Kick boxing and karate classes are also taught to adults for great exercise as well as enhancing skills. All levels are encouraged. If you learn from Shihan Mike Jablanski, you've learned from the best.

Tremendous Food for Tremendous Value

This amazing french bakery serves up amazing food for a terrific value. You can have a wonderful brioche for breakfast or a phenominal french dinner in the evening. The service is personal, friendly and considerate. The food is fabulous and at a great price. Have a dinner there, you won't be sorry. You need to bring your own wine, they will cork it for you and serve it up beautifully.
