I-Roof

This company's got some growing to do

I had tree damage and needed new gutters and whole roof redone. Granted, they came out and did a thorough inspection and actually gave a fair price. They were ready to begin work within a week. But the problem was, they were not willing to put on a vent cap and colar for a little 3in vent that went to the kitchen range vent. They told me I needed to get an HVAC guy to do this?! Well, my adjuster, and 10 other contractors, including HVAC contractors told me that it was nothing, and usually the roofer would do that. HVAC wouldn't even come out to look at it! But iRoof made a presidential issue out of it - refused to start work. So I canceled the contract and started looking for another roofer. Then the guy Ceasar tells me that I can't cancel my contract and I'm legally locked into them. What! That really pissed me off and I made sure iRoof knew that I knew my rights, and they weren't getting a cent from me. So they made a great introduction, but their professionalism (or lack of it)started to show when they couldn't perform the work that all the other roofers would do, their unnecessary calls from their business office who had no idea what was going on, and the way this Ceasar guy tried to strong arm me into a contract (which by the way, does not even allude to your rights to cancel by GA state law) and not even provide me with a cancellation form. At first I was sorry to let them go, but now I just don't trust. Would not recommend.

International get-away without leaving the country

My wife and I spent 2 days there for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, you feel as though you've arrived in another country. It's just so different looking to be staying at a vineyard. It was very elegant and classy. Check-in was a breeze, we felt warmly welcome by the staff, and we even had a welcome letter in our bedroom that stated "Happy third anniversary". It was just the little touches that made it really nice. The beds were very comfortable with thick down comforters. The room was understatedly luxurious. Nothing really stood out but the little fine details were nice. (nothing felt cheesy) The food was fantastic. Dinner was to order but the lunches and breakfasts were buffet. There was something for everyone. The overall feeling there is just quiet and peaceful. Nothing is rushed or busy at all - just what we needed. On the first night there, they brought us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. And on the 2nd night, my wife got the surprise of the rose pedals all over the bed when we returned to the room. Very nice! Also, they have an outdoor pool, a slightly warm 24hr indoor pool, and a hot tub. We took advantage of all three. The wines were not all that but we did find a bottle we liked and bought. There’s nothing I can complain about besides the price. It was very expensive for 2 days (over $800!) but I guess you have to keep the riffraff out. We’ll look out of a special next time, but we really enjoyed ourselves overall.
